We are looking for a career minded and independent individual for a full-time Compliance role. As a Compliance Associate you will focus primarily on the Regulatory Audits and ad hoc requests by regulators and other governmental bodies, and General Compliance inquiries. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating external audits, regulatory audits and requests for information by different regulatory authorities. In addition, you will be responsible for responding to internal and external escalations and compliance inquiries, and perform various tasks in line with regulatory rules and requirements (e.g. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Handbook).
As a Compliance Associate you will:

Develop and maintain the required knowledge and experience to oversee and assist with the completion of regulatory audits and regulatory requests for information
Develop and maintain internal compliance procedures
Develop and maintain the required knowledge and experience to perform tasks related to European and in particular to FCA rules
Research and respond to internal and external inquiries and escalations
Provide regulatory reports on an on-going basis as required by regulators
Assist in general responsibilities and designated tasks of the Compliance team
Liaise with Business and relevant stakeholders in the coordination of the audits and regulatory requests
Be able to analyze audit results and recommend and implement solutions or suggest improvements
Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by the team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Audit (non-financial)/Project Management or relevant Compliance Experience in Financial Services
Some knowledge of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Rules and/or other relevant European financial legislation (i.e. MIFID) is preferred
Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to draft formal responses to requests by regulatory authorities
Preferably a Financial or Legal educational background
Demonstrate a genuine interest in regulatory Compliance and a proactive approach towards development

Contract type: Labor contract with "Technementals Technologies (Bulgaria)" EAD

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
