Software Assets Management Analyst

You will…

Ensure the license-compliant use of software for defined manufacturers through regular reviews of contractual obligations compared to the technical deployment and the creation of compliance reports
Track market development, especially for license models
Use and optimize of existing tools for inventory and Software Asset Management
Improve commercial and technical data quality
Further develop the license management processes, guidelines and interfaces
Support the IT organization regarding the optimization of the license and maintenance costs as well as software usage
Accompany manufacturer audits
Build a reporting / information system for continuous improvement of performance and quality
Manage and assure compliance with applicable standards
Develop procedures for quality assurance and acceptance procedures
Support and operate the SAM tool and will develop roadmaps for SAM tools usage

You have…

University degree, ideally in the field of business informatics, computer science, business administration, economics or comparable education
Ideally experience in the area of License Management / Software Asset Management; in case of lack of experience, we expect several years of experience in system management or in internal IT accounting for services
Experience in implementing projects
Negotiation skills, assertiveness and excellent communication skills
Independent, structured, self-reliant, committed and reliable way of working
English language spoken and written
Ability to work in teams and resilience
Strong "Hands On" mentality
Very good knowledge of Excel
Experience in working with virtual, intercultural teams
