A product-oriented company which provides technology that unlocks the value of accounting data automates the bookkeeping process and helps their clients to build more valuable accountant-client relationships. In order to keep processes intact, together we are looking for an experienced:
DATA ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Working with BI team to understand their data needs, and ensuring the data evolves to support them;
- Write production-quality clean, maintainable and efficient ETL code;
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the business has all the data they need;
- Providing training to BI analysts and domain analysts on best practices in Git, Data modeling, with a particular focus on driving an automation mentality;
- Follow best practices including continuous integration, code standards, refactoring and SCRUM methodology.
Experience:
- Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology /ideally SaaS/ business;
- Experience in building and developing tools that will streamline data and increase knowledge sharing throughout the business;
- Experience in using Big Data, business intelligence tools such as Spark;
- Excellent command of English.
As an advantage:
- Knowledge of Python and SQL Databases;
