We are looking for an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in growing R&D center in Bulgaria, Sofia, working on innovative technologies for the new company’s product Acronis Storage. This position is mainly responsible for implementing automated scenarios testing. This involves working collaboratively with all teams including RnD departments based in other offices.We are looking for a highly motivated person with strong desire to learn and dig deep and who is just as excited about innovation, technology and quality as we are.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manual acceptance testing of Acronis Cyber Infrastructure Appliance
• Automation of Appliance testing
• REST API testing of deployment and configuration
• Performance benchmarks
• Maintenance of test lab
• Participation in feature architecture on early stages
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years of hands-on Python or other scripting language experience
• Strong Linux user
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, flavors
• Familiarity with Agile processes
• Strong understanding of network stack
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocol and RESTful interfaces
• Familiarity with version control systems, bugtackers
• Willingness to adopt new technologies, testing methodologies and frameworks
