As Cyber Infrastructure Product Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining an existing and developing new portfolio of cyber infrastructure products and services. In addition, you will devise and manage the development of strategies and activities to establish and enhance product placement, pricing, packaging, roadmap, expansion plan according to market needs and steer towards achieving revenue targets.
We are looking for a talented and motivated professional who will be part of high-skilled team that are working on software-defined storage, compute virtualization, appliances and cloud orchestration software and hardware solutions. The team in general is responsible for providing requirements for software-defined data center infrastructure products, managing strategy, roadmap and priorities, as well as finding technical solutions with engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define product features, write clear detailed requirements, and unify them across projects and teams
• Develop a deep understanding of new customers’ needs as well as wants, collecting and analyzing their requirements and product feedback, make data-driven decisions about direction to grow
• Analyze product metrics to define better approach in delivering products with superior quality and with highly desired features set
• Conduct market research to gather information about target markets or customers. Analyze collected data to improve business strategy
• Profiling of competitors in an assessment analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, review competitor’s products
• Work with modern and cutting edge technologies, including software-defined storage, hypervisor, software-defined networking, OpenStack, NVMeoF, SMR and container virtualization
• Establish and implement effective requirements creation and management practices
• Implement ways to unify and reuse requirements across projects
• Facilitate communication throughout the development process inside Acronis, collaborate with designers, engineers, support, marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the best product on the market
• Establish pricing and licensing model for products

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3-6 years of experience in software development projects as program/product manager
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Product/UX Design or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
• Understanding of system engineering concept
• Experience in collecting requirements from customers
• Experience in working with project management and requirements preparation tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Technical understanding at least in one of the following areas: OpenStack, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services, virtualization, software-defined storage, software-defined networking, cloud orchestration
• Experience in Agile software development process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written & verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge in distributed systems, service providers business is a plus
