Responsibilities
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue and other business outcomes
• Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems
• Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project
• Combine models through ensemble modeling
• Build models to address business problems
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies for business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
Requirements
• Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics, such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks
• Knowledge in advanced statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/ Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
• Familiarity with R, SQL, and Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, MLFlow, MLlib (Spark), TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spacey, Matplotlib, seaborn, OOP)
• Excellent written and verbal English
Strong advantage will be an experience with
• Cloud services like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle
• Complementary technologies for a Data Scientist: Spark/Databricks, Anaconda, Docker, Scala, Scraping/Crawling, Segment, Statistical Testing Platforms (such as Optimizely)
• Analyzing data from 3rd party providers: Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook, etc.
