The MentorMate Marketing team is looking to hire a Graphic Design Lead who will work in a team of uniquely creative designers and marketers. This creative, problem-solving individual will offer visual communication solutions for a range of strategic projects undertaken by thе stakeholders.

The successful candidate is someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs and has an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work. The person in this position must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively on creative projects, and have strong design skills and an aesthetic that demonstrates an understanding of current and emerging trends.

Job Description

Taking a lead design role on cross-functional teams, ensuring that all related print and digital design work is of the highest quality, consistent, and supports the goals of the individual project.
Work independently and in cross-functional groups on a variety of strategic communications projects that require creative problem-solving and concepting.
Partner with editors, writers and web professionals and others to develop holistic communications solutions.
Create a wide range of visual materials. Examples include logos, signage, annual reports, ads, publications, branded collateral, direct mail pieces, event promotions, image creation, and presentations.
Work on multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and following schedules.
Contribute to creative concept presentations to leadership and others.
Work to ensure a proper balance of form and function in all materials.
Integrates brand direction, applies innovative best practices while maintaining user engagement and goal optimization
Work in an international team located in Bulgaria and the United States

Required Skills

4+ years’ experience in graphic design
Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal.
Understanding of production process; capable of taking a design from concept to production.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging technologies.
Previous marketing/creative/branding/copy experience.
Ability to be proactive, data-driven, punctual, and work with minimum direction.
Ability to work independently and in groups to offer design solutions to communications problems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
