Who is our client?
The company was established in 2010 and provides access to a wide range of markets, including Equities, FX (Forex) and others. The company is HQ in Singapore but operating mainly in the UK. They have an office of about 20 IT Geeks and for the new projects and market expansion, they are looking for
CTO
Main duties:
In this position, you will lead several teams of specialists - hardware, software, QA, product and project management teams. Your main duties will include strategic planning, optimization, cost reduction, and challenging projects. You will actively participate in the R&D activities and will manage the projects inside with the help of the Seniors members of the team.
Experience:
If you have:
- 10 years of experience in managing IT teams;
- Experience with Python, Ruby, Perl or other scripting or dynamic languages;
- Strong experience in Architecture / C++ programming in a low-latency trading environment;
- Very good knowledge of REST and the Web Services;
- Experience in server-side .NET or/and Java;
- Some knowledge of NoSQL databases (Aerospike, MongoDB are preferred);
- Very good English - both written and spoken.
Education:
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related field;
