The Team:
Autonomous and cross-functional teams. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll join an ambitious team of highly motivated and talented professionals, who love to collaborate and are driven by helping people achieve their business goals.
As part of this team, you will be working on developing microservices and build ETL pipelines in order to serve the company’s data warehouse.

The Tech Stack:
The Backend, iOS, Android and Web developers, QA engineers, Architects, DevOps, Agile coaches, Data experts and Product owners all work together in order to solve difficult cases and get the job done.
The Data Science team performs most of their work in Python. They use libraries such as sklearn, xgboost, keras, spacy, prophet and work to ensure reproducibility by using Git, S3 and Docker. Our client aims to make the data access simple by writing SQL queries against the Redshift data-warehouse or by building their own ETL processes using Airflow. Their models are deployed in dockerized microservices or streaming applications.
The Frontend teams are developing UX in iOS, Android and WebApps in order to track the customer interactions. The Backend team is writing APIs that can be uses to access the various data sources within the company. The DevOps team supports the building and deployment of pipelines.

Required skills:
Proven development experience in Python, incl. development of microservices using e.g. Flask
Extensive experience in working with Databases
Experience with streaming applications such as Kafka streams, Spark streaming
Experience in working with ETL frameworks such as Airflow or Luigi
Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker
