About the position:

We are looking for a motivated professional to take on the role of IT Security Solution Architect. Through his participation in the pursuit solution team, the person will be responsible for the security solution design for the company’s customer base. The main tasks would be related to the provision of subject matter expertise to the sales team in order to deliver high-quality technical knowledge to the customers. The candidate will be working on multiple client accounts and will be required to present secure solution to management and the technical teams.


Job duties:
Promote the ESS Portfolio of Security Products and Services with the customer, positioning best fit solutions that meet/enhance their Security Strategy and reduce risk.
Architect solutions and technically drive security projects at an enterprise level, ensuring that the customer's security requirements are met.
Collect and determine information & data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements.
Responds to requests for technical information from customers.
Develop customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
Work closely with the central Bid Office and takes technical responsibility within the areas of expertise
Possess awareness of the Regulatory/Legislative/best practice/company policy

Requirements:
Pre-sales experience with strong understanding of the sales process – a reseller, distributor or vendor background
Understands the architectural dependencies of technologies related to information security and infrastructure security environment.
High expertise with one of the following:
Security Information and Event Management;
Threat Intelligence;
Advanced Threat Protection;
Perimeter Security;
Identity and Access Management;
Advantages:
A formal security industry accreditation would be an advantage e.g. CISSP, CLAS, CISM, CISA
Knowledge and experience with the following solutions would be considered a strong advantage:
Network Security;
Data Centre Security;
Web & Email Security;
IDS/IPS;
End Point Security
Some of the following vendor’s technologies:
McAfee;
Check Point;
Websense;
F5;
Juniper;
HP Tipping Point
