USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
Job Purpose and Impact
The User Experience Designer will create innovative solutions for a wide variety of design challenges in order to ensure a great user experience. In this role, you will support user experience requirements, create prototypes, design user experiences and collaboratively work within teams to ship functioning solutions.

KEY Accountabilities
Collaborate with customers, users, product owners, scrum masters, development teams and stakeholders to understand and evaluate project requirements.
Support/coach the product owner in evaluating, analyzing and scoping solutions from the customer/user perspective.
Create innovative solutions for a wide variety of design challenges, including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions.
Develop prototypes to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas around customer needs.
Present design deliverables to the development team, stakeholders, users or peers in informal and formal settings.
Make recommendations to product owners, development teams and other designers based upon user feedback cycles.
Create and pitch concepts to inform product roadmap or new product opportunities.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Fluency in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira or DevOps or comparable tools.
Certifications in user research.
Working knowledge of related agile methodologies.
Design and development experience with reporting tools and applications.
Expertise in standard user experience software.
Five years of proven work experience as user experience designer.
Bachelor’s degree in user experience design, design, computer science or engineering.
Experience with material design, iOS design guidelines, responsive design, web design.
Experience with prototypes and conducting user testing.
Analytical mind with a business acumen.
Experience working in the ag tech field.
