We’re looking for a brilliant content artist to join our Marketing team at MentorMate. In this role, you’ll help pull together all the threads of a story and weave coherent narratives across multiple platforms to raise awareness and promote MentorMate’s culture and services.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to use content not (just) to fire metric-raising clickbait out into the ether, but to tell a lucid cross-platform story that people want to follow — whether it’s writing a technology blog post, supporting an ad campaign, expanding the software community with a tech event, driving the engagement to our websites with the latest story, or showcasing our awesome team members through video.

Responsibilities
Create copy, make videos, and capture photos as part of a communication strategy designed to drive engagement and new leads
Write blog posts and e-books drafted by our technologists
Support our initiatives and events by creating visual content/ads that promote the company
Plan and build internal and external newsletters
Edit, proofread, and fact-check marketing content in English and Bulgarian
Support us in finding new creative ways to use content to enhance our employer branding and business development efforts
Monitor the competitive landscape for new digital media opportunities and stay up-to-date on developments and trends in digital marketing

Requirements
Fluent English and impeccable Bulgarian
3+ year of relevant marketing experience
Video shooting and editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro CC)
Extensive knowledge of content development and social media’s best practices built on copy, creative, and placement
A passion for creative storytelling
Experience thinking differently and finding ways to present ideas that no one will be expecting
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
Ability to be proactive, data-driven, and punctual and work with little to no supervision
Portfolio of at least 3–5 writing (English and Bulgarian) and video samples

Advantages:
Experience with marketing automation platforms/CRM (Hubspot or other)
Motion graphics skills (Adobe After Effects CC)
Experience with email marketing
Experience with popular digital advertising platforms (Facebook Ads/LinkedIn Ads/Google Ads)
