We are looking for: Database Administrator - Data Intelligence & Reporting Team
MISSION:
• Design and maintain the database of the BI and reporting team
• Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts and Team Leaders to deliver data solutions
• Develop ETL and data processes to integrate with multiple data sources, including transactional data and analytics
• Monitor daily data transfer assuring the quality of the data
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Automation of all maintenance tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
• Familiarity with the principles of data warehouse design
• Knowledge and experience of developing, deploying and maintaining ETL workloads with tools like Pentaho and Talend studio
• Practical RDBMS (MySQL,PostgreSQL,SQL Server, Azure SQL)
• SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
• Experience with large transactional data volumes
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery (Clustering, Always-on, Replication and Log-Shipping)
ADVANTAGES:
• Must know: Linux (Debian), MySQL
• Good to know: Elasticsearch, Percona devtools & monitoring, Pentaho
