Position Title: Front-end Web Developer

As a Front-end Web Developer within the Digital Media Marketing team, you will be working as part of the web marketing team across UK and EMEA, responsible for developing improvements and optimisations across all Experian websites in the region. Working closely with CX, UX and product managers, you will be involved in key projects according to our development roadmap and the day to day optimisation of our websites. This role will directly drive the technical delivery of our digital marketing growth strategy through our online channels, with a key focus on the front-end user experience to optimise the site conversion rate.

Working within Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress, you will develop new features and experiences as part of a dynamic web marketing team, as well other web developers across the business.

Responsibilities:
Plan, design and develop technical solutions to meet user and business requirements
Day to day maintenance on existing sites based on internal and external needs
Write well-structured, sustainable and reusable code
Ensure the code follows the latest practices and industry standards including accessibility and SEO
QA and debug code across browsers and devices to ensure it performs optimally
Create exciting and compelling web pages
Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
Work closely with other members of the digital media marketing team and collaboratively across the business in a multi-functional role to capture requirements for the development roadmap
Proactively identify bottlenecks and blockers to improve our front-end developer experience
Work in an Agile environment

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of website development experience using a content management system (CMS)
Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
Experienced in responsive web design
Experience with cross-browser/device web development
Good problem-solving skills
Fundamental understanding of CX and UX design
Experience of working from wireframes, prototypes and concept boards
A good understanding of optimising websites for speed
Excellent organisational skills - the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Fluent English

Desirable:
Experience/training in developing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including HTL
Experienced in using GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, node.js
Experience of tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch
General awareness of Digital Marketing and integrated marketing campaigns
Experience in B2B marketing preferred but not essential
Building proof-of-concept mock-ups and prototypes of web pages and components
