Backup Infrastructure Engineer

You will…
Implement all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
Ensure global IT support, based on follow-the-sun organization as well as 24/7 on-call-duty
Do Incident resolution and incident management
Implement changes and change management
Record documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
Possess a proactive capacity and skill for performance management of systems and system components

You have…
5+ years of working experience in IT, at least 3 of them in Storage and Backup administration
IT-related education
Good and applicable knowledge of CommVault V11
Good and applicable knowledge about Automation via Windows and Linux based Scripting: e.g. Automation of CommVault Installations & Updates, Configuration of CommVault via RestAPI
Good and applicable knowledge of EMC file service products, especially ISILON
Knowledge of VMware VSAN
Knowledge of ITIL framework
Knowledge of agile methodology for planning and implementation of projects / new designs
Fluent command of English

It would be a great addition if you have...
Knowledge of EMC block storage products, especially VMAX and Unity
Knowledge of our Brocade Fibre Channel Infrastructure
Knowledge of IBM SVC
Knowledge of Tintri VMware-Storage
Knowledge of VMware 5.x/6.x
Knowledge of iSCSI Storage
Certifications on above mentioned
