At Acronis, we are currently looking for a Software Developer C++ to join our Acronis True Image team in our R&D center in Sofia.

Acronis True Image is a software for backup with millions of active users. Thanks to our software, our customers feel safe and protected against system and hardware failure. At any time, the user can recover the whole system including operating system, applications, settings and personal data.

Your responsibilities as a Software Developer in this team would be to make the new product version flawless. True Image is constantly developing and we are bringing new features based on innovative technologies every version release. You will be working closely with the rest of the engineering and product teams to architect and develop a lightweight and well-performing desktop application.

We are looking for someone who cares as much about building amazing customer experiences as about working with cool technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, integrate and debug code for Windows/Mac OS platforms
Develop low-level file system code
Write unit and automated tests
Optimize data transition protocols

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of software development experience with C++ and STL
Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principles (standard algorithms, data structures, multithreading and multiprocessing, design patterns)
Experience with writing well-designed, high-quality production code
Willingness to dive into existing code base
Very good level of English


It would be beneficial if you have:



Understanding of system API and its platform specifics (Windows, MacOS)
Familiarity with build and deployment technologies and tracking systems (like Github, Jira, Jenkins)
Knowledge of Golang and C
Knowledge of Python or any other scripting language for automated tests
Experience with working in a large team and with cross-team communications
