We are looking to hire an experienced remote Ruby on Rails Developer who will work in a team of uniquely intelligent technologists to implement web applications that make the world a better place!

You will participate in the creation of enterprise-class applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. This position requires a hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation. You will use the Scrum development methodology to create 21st-century software solutions that set standards.

Job Description
Participate in the architecture, design and development phase of software production
Build a polished cross-browser web-based user interface
Deliver high-quality software with extensive Unit Testing
Participate successfully in an established daily Scrum process
Communicate with foreign team members and clients
Enforce best coding and UI standards, evaluate others’ work

Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience developing web applications
Strong experience with dynamic languages like Ruby or Python
Ability to write documented code that is usable in a team environment
Experience with test-driven development
Experience with large dynamic web applications
Excellent spoken and written English
Extra points if you have experience with:
MongoDB
ElasticSearch
Docker
Complex API/ Data Integration
Service-Oriented-Architecture
Linux system administration
