MentorMate is looking to hire an experienced in-house Graphic Designer who will work in a team of marketers to internally support various departments in the creation of graphic design work spanning from print to digital while staying within MentorMate’s brand identity guidelines.

As a member of the Marketing team, you will work alongside our US and BG experience designers and brand owners as a brand ambassador and brand advocate. You will be responsible for driving consistency and ensuring that all established style guidelines are rigorously applied across internal and external branded materials. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and understands composition, typography, color, user experience best practices, and can work within a set visual identity. Previous experience with motion graphics is a plus.

Responsibilities
Support our Client Experience team in creating on-brand sales materials including but not limited to: presentations and documents within Google Slides and Google Docs on an ongoing basis
Create on-brand print and digital marketing materials including but not limited to: banner ads, social media ads, emails, eBooks, infographics, print brochures, etc
Ensure that design projects meet MentorMate’s quality standards and are delivered on schedule
Prioritize multiple concurrent projects while working within MentorMate’s established brand guidelines
Collaborate with other designers to find new and creative ways to express the brand within those guidelines

Requirements
2-3 years experience in graphic design
A strong portfolio of design work
Understanding of composition, typography, color, and user experience best practices
Able to work within a set visual identity and brand standards
Proficiency in designing documents and presentations
Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to articulate and defend design decisions with grace, logic, and data

Nice to have
Previous experience in Google Slides and Google Docs
Previous experience in Figma
Previous experience with Adobe AfterEffects
Previous experience with Canva
