Purpose of the Role: To protect financial security of the Company by safeguarding the business against internal and external fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examining and scrutinizing business operations to prevent fraudulent activities.
• Undertaking investigations into allegations of fraud and corruption of varying nature and complexity.
• Performing due diligence investigations as required.
• Gathering, recording and securely retaining evidence relating to investigations.
• Conducting witness interviews and taking statements.
• Examining bet calculation, resettlement processes and customer blocking cases.
• Assisting with protecting the brand’s reputation by independently examining negative comments on Marathonbet’s social media networks, in particular issues relating to bet settlement errors, result errors and customer blocking cases.
• Reporting on performance of various departments within the group.
• Preparing ad hoc management reports as and when required.
• Identifying control weaknesses and recommending solutions and controls for future improvements.

Other

• Working closely with all the key stakeholders from various departments within the business, as and when required.
• Escalating issues to Internal Security Manager as appropriate.
• Keeping abreast of professional knowledge by participating in training, maintaining personal networks and studying developments in quality management within the industry.
• Undertaking other reasonable duties as instructed by senior management.
