Our Data Center Monitoring team in Sofia is part of the Acronis Global Data Center Operations department and provides the front line of Acronis Data Center Operations team.

We detect and analyze events based on preconfigured metrics for a variety of services and systems and provide initial troubleshooting for all Acronis Cloud-based services and infrastructures, escalating events to different teams inside Acronis when needed. We are involved in the development, support and maintenance of the Monitoring instruments and environments as well as in all ongoing system and infrastructure maintenances, providing support during their execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify system, application and network issues within the Acronis Cloud Data Center Environment
Triage events as they occur and take the appropriate action
Escalate as needed to appropriate teams
Assist in reporting and dashboard service metrics
Make automation recommendations based on recurring events
Follow communication protocol to inform Customer Support, Leadership and Customers of status of the Cloud Environment
Track escalated issues status
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Basic Operating System Skills of mainly Linux and also MS Windows including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patch maintenance, security, and recovery
Basic Ethernet / Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Networking Skills including physical network installation, troubleshooting, patch maintenance and recovery
Management of virtualization environments, i.e. VMware ESX and/or Linux Kernel-based hypervisors (KVM, Virtuozzo)
Basic setup and administration of basic network services
Previous experience as part of a Monitoring team would be a plus
Network troubleshooting skills
Hardware/Rack management and maintenance skills
Good communication skills
Fluent English
