Team leading responsibilities
Lead and manage a diverse team of both junior and experienced BAs
Build strong relationships with your direct reports
Encourage the growth of all team members through skill development and goal setting
Act as a mentor and provide technical leadership to the team members
Be involved in the department hiring process, interview and assess candidates to find the best fit for the company
Be part of the department’s leadership team and contribute to department initiatives and optimizations

Project and client responsibilities
Communicate with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their business, processes, and services
Lead business analysis activities during project definition sessions and take high-level business requirements from key stakeholders
Collaborate with solutions architects to analyze and document the business requirements
Work with the project management team to ensure quality and on-time delivery
Produce project documentation such as functional requirements, diagrams, etc.
Produce product backlog of fully defined epics and user stories
Support product owners to scope and prioritize stories to ensure the development process is aligned with the objectives
Take the lead in estimating and validating the requirements with the development team
Lead SCRUM meetings such as sprint plannings and backlog groomings
Be the first point of contact for answering the team’s questions

What we are looking for
5+ years of experience in a Business Analysis position
Previous experience in a leadership role
Very good understanding of different software development methodologies
Ability to lead/organize/manage development process for complex software projects
Excellent knowledge of business analysis best practices and ability to effectively apply them
Ability to identify risks in the project and communicate them
Excellent people skills – demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status
Very strong self-motivation and personal drive to improve themselves
Willingness to see others succeed
Ability to provide constructive and encouraging feedback
Excellent spoken and written English
