Position Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Solution Development

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our QA Centre of Excellence.
The person in this role will be involved in testing (for instance, but not limited to: functional, non-functional) on all applications from the earliest opportunity available in the process till the software solution is on live environment.

Responsibilities:
Evaluates application requirements and design documents, and working closely with Product Management, Systems Engineers and Architects to contribute to the Testing strategy for projects.
Creates and updates all sort of documentation related with the quality assurance and testing functions.
Documents and communicates the removal of different sort of issues, defects or uncertainties, related with the Software product under development, as well in the procedures and the processes employed for software application delivery.
To guide and support the fellow colleagues in their daily work, as well to share experience with them.
Reports, researches, validates and tracks complex defects with consistent high quality.
Communicating testing status on a timely manner to the managing personnel and stakeholders.
Proactively contributes in retrospectives and defect escape analysis.
Participate in improvement initiatives.
Participate in knowledge transfers to the Software Test Engineers and self.
Communicates with on-site/ offshore team members, as required.
Tracks the new/ updated requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly.
Review, schedules and executes the functional test on given project.
Reviews, reports, verify and assign valid defects to the relevant developers, other team members etc.
Gathers information in relation to employed metrics.
Requirements:
Background in Testing/Quality assurance - 3 to 5 years’ experience in the field
Excellent communication skills
Proven excellent written and spoken English
Highly organized with attention to the detail
Creative and innovational decision making.
Ability to learn fast and as well to work effectively and efficiently.
