The Manager of Consumer Risk Analytics will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing data-driven risk solutions by applying advanced analytical techniques. This individual will play a critical role in the consumer risk team and identify emerging trends in consumer & merchant risk profiles and translate those findings into actionable insights.

We are looking for a Manager to work with a team of data analysts for leveraging the latest analytical tools and techniques to enhance our fraud and risk management capabilities.

Essential Duties

• Use advanced analytics to generate actionable insights and develop risk strategies to drive portfolio growth while mitigating risk.
• Produce forecasting models, analysis, and recommendations to understand and mitigate risk potential vulnerabilities
• Analyze and proactively identify emerging risk trends and adapt existing strategies and methodologies accordingly
• Perform in-depth data analysis on risk profiles of different flows/payment methods and prior losses to identify new actionable trends
• Support all business units within the Consumer Risk Department in creating and maintaining operational reporting and KPI monitoring dashboards
• Conduct exploratory analyses to identify key triggers of customer behavior that can be leveraged strategically
• Managing a group of data analysts, and working closely with the data scientist team to analyze and identify emerging risk trends and adapt existing strategies
• Analysis of customer transaction data to develop and improve transactional fraud prevention strategies
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, executive metrics reporting, and coaching and mentoring of direct reports

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or any other quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience, with 3+ in fraud or risk management; experience in analytics and/or modelling or relevant area preferable.
• Advanced SQL knowledge is a must, preferably experience in Oracle PL/SQL. Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL scripts. Hands on dealing with large data sets
• Experience with report analysis and development using business intelligence tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners and management to define strategies that balance risk and return.
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced and evolving environment
• Excellent communication abilities and compelling presentation skills
• Excellent level of English is a must
