Acronis DC Operations team is looking for Infrastructure engineer who will support agressive growth and opening new locations. We manage dozens of datacenters, several dozens are on the way, so we expect that candidate will continously document and optimize all the tasks. Position presumes that engineer posses not only technical skills, but also good in communications to build strong relationships with contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with DC smarthands and contractors all the works with hardware equipment
Document DC infrastructure
Perform capacity planning
Assist service teams with hardware ordering
Improve hardware placement and cabling schemas
Own spare parts stock and management
Manage new hardware deliveries and RMA requests

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of proven DC engineering experience
Understanding of fundamental DC factors: power, cooling, floor load, redundancy tiers
Creating noticeably clear guides for not qualified personal
Maintaining rack mountable hardware
Cabling for different types of IT equipment
Selecting optimal hardware equipment and parts
Keeping accurate documentation
Understanding of basic integration and load tests for hardware components are pluses
Basic knowledges about IT networks topologies and troubleshooting is plus
Fluent written and spoken English
