Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work with IBM enterprise clients, who run one of IBM’s supported Linux distributions. These include Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS and Oracle Linux.
As Linux specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in the support field and/or System admin experience with one of the following: (Linux/UNIX/AIX)
• Strong communication skills
• Strong soft-skills and customer management techniques
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English (C1) and German languages (B2)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• RHCE, RHCSA, UNIX or Linux system administration Certification
• Knowledge in Virtualization
• Knowledge in IBM Power, IBM System Z
