Acronis is looking for Documentation Localization Specialist (Maternity Cover). You will be responsible for the technical aspects of software localization processes including creation of localized technical documentation (context help and user guides) for all Acronis products, corporate and consumer, in up to 24 languages. You will work closely with Technical Writers, Translation Teams (External Localization Vendors), QA and Development Teams to ensure that non-English Acronis documentation, as an integral part of the localized product, gets delivered on time, with high quality, on every project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working efficiently with MadCap Flare CMS, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Graphical Editors
• Getting localization materials from source and prepare them for translation by localization vendors
• Knowing end-to-end workflows and ensuring they are followed on each project
• Implement translated files and publish localized outputs
• Support Developers/Translators on various localization/internationalization aspects
• Optimization and automation of existing localization processes
• Fixing i18n/l10n issues

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years of experience in software localization and technical documentation
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
• Must be a team player, fast and able learner, hardworking
• Project-focused - committed to quality and on-time delivery
• Fluent in English

WOULD BE A PLUS:
• Knowledge of HTML/XML/CSS markup languages
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools
• Knowledge of software development life cycle
• Other foreign languages or interest in linguistics
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Knowledge of scripts (Perl, Python, RegEx, etc)
• Knowledge of shell scripts (Bash/Cygwin)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc)
• Knowledge of CMS (Drupal 7/8, Author-it 5.x/6.x)
• Knowledge of CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ)
