Our new client is a leading publisher in London, who is currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation, evolving from traditional journalism to an AI and data-driven insight and analysis provider. Together we are looking for:

BACK END DEVELOPER (PHP and WordPress experience)

In this role you will be part of a team of Software Engineers, working on the next-generation platforms within a large multi-site platform.

It will be good to have the following experience:
3+ years of experience in developing applications using PHP and WordPress;
2+ years of experience using WordPress plugins and WordPress template;
Hands-on experience with Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, LESS;
Proven experience or knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational databases;
Familiar with Reactjs, Angularjs or other JS framework;
Experience in any MVC Framework (Laravel, Yii, Codeigniter, Symfony, Zend, etc) will be considered as a plus;
Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
