The Role:

The role of the Payments Engineer is to provide support to a number of payments solutions across the group and will report into the application support team. The successful applicant will also be involved in a payments related projects and help architect solutions.

The person must have previous experience with payment solutions such as SWIFT and have the ability to work as part of a team. They must be able to understand requirements, design documentation and build solutions to satisfy these.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing business as usual support to payments solutions such as SWIFT
Take a leading role in providing technical support relating to payments.
Resolving payments-related tickets, logged with the IT service desk. These tickets can be both, technical and functional related.
Troubleshooting incidents relating to payments.
Supporting payments projects and inputting to the technical design of the solutions
Optimising payments solutions in the business
Understanding technical implementation of payments solutions in the business
Managing documentation associated with payments solutions
Managing and execute changes required such as annual SWIFT updates.
