Together with one of our partners, global telecommunication and cloud provider, that delivers connectivity and communications services to support diverse customers we are looking for Network Specialist, who is willing to provide technical support to the delivery teams for complex orders AND support day to day network operations where required, so to enable proactive monitoring of backbone and customer services.

Network Specialist
Required skills:
Self-motivated individual driven by evolving technology developing business benefit.
Extensive experience working with any of the following protocols: IP/MPLS, IPV6, OSPF, OSPFv3, IS-IS, BGP, MP-BGP, RSVP-TE, LDP, VPLS, L2Circuit
Extensive knowledge of test equipment and troubleshooting techniques used to provide analysis, and service, functional problem analysis and or repair
Ability to solve design and operational problems, plan and schedule complex communication system or services upgrades, modifications, and new equipment acquisition and installation
Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize backlogged work
Relevant degree
Ability to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly
Strong communication skills

Your daily
responsibilities
include:
Provide technical expertise during implementation of network devices and new routes on the global
Participate in network planning meetings and provide low level plans for major network changes with detailed diagrams and full scope of works for physical and logical work.
Be responsible for network documentation and ensuring base configurations on all devices are consistent and up to date in line with design LLD.
Work in close collaboration with the service assurance team to ensure they have necessary documentation to support the network and all monitoring is setup for all network metrics to enable proactive monitoring of backbone and customer services.
Support the capacity management team with data collection and provide up to date details of utilisation and support capacity management team by executing migrations to free up capacity.
Act as Level 3 escalation for network outages and complex customer issues, as well as provide technical support to Service Delivery teams and Technical sales for complex orders and high value bids.
