As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In the role you will be responsible for:
– Acting as a technical consultant and architect for customers in pre-sales & projects;
– Communicating, designing and guiding the migration for our customer, as well as do hands-on implementation when needed;
– Gathering requirements and defining the challenges for the migration & planning;
– Helping engineers to deliver projects that meet customer needs & timeline;
– Working together with sales and project managers to manage the customer expectation from a technical point of view;
– Educating customers on best practices in Cloud Migrations and communicating our work approach in a manner that customers understand the value within them;
– Ensuring high-quality delivery, reporting, and business profitability;
– Helping to develop migration methodology and related tooling further.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Hands-on experience in the areas of:

– Private virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc);
– Windows Server and Linux administration;
– Active Directory administration○DB administration○Backup and DR systems;
– Experience in customer facing consultancy and architecture work;
– Experience and technical understanding of large scale data center migrations;
– Practical, systematic, and detail-oriented mindset and ability to learn fast;
– Vast experience in public cloud solutions (AWS or Azure or GCP);
– Excellent communication skills and a business mindset;
– Previously gained experience as a consultant working with mid-size and large,international organizations;
– Fluent English – both written and verbal
