We also have opportunities in more client-oriented roles, such as Emergency Response Managers, Technical Escalation Managers, and many Project management roles.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Provide Senior Expert technical support assistance to customers and IBM technical personnel on multiple products, subsystems and/or systems in the High Availability product environment
Use, as well as specialized support tools, techniques, and procedures to identify and evaluate possible problem cause and solution alternatives, and to determine most likely cause(s) and solution(s)
Execute deep technical analysis and provide guidance to other IBM engineers for issues beyond their level of expertise.
Verify action plan, created by IBM engineers, and provided to the customer or IBM representative as appropriate.
Recommend and implement new or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes. Viewed as a technical expert, contribute to department attainment of organizational objectives and high customer satisfaction
Strong in-depth technical knowledge and ability of troubleshooting complex issues using problem determination best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of customer facing service or support skills and experience.
Мaster’s Degree in Engineering, computer science or similar technical degree
Technical aptitude with ability to understand and succinctly communicative value
Expert level industry and vendor certifications
Expert level knowledge of server hardware and operating systems

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Fluency in German, French or Italian are considered as an advantage
