Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Solution Cloud Architect, you are working as a bridge between customer’s vision and our Cloud Architects & Engineers – you help define requirements from the needs and designs from requirements as a key member of our customer teams.Our customers are large enterprises who are seeking to benefit from the agility, scalability and innovation of public cloud platforms. Leveraging Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud to deliver both infrastructure as well as Data-driven and IoT related projects at speed has never been easier.In your role you will make a significant contribution to the success of the business by preparing and delivering technical presentations as well as collaborating with sales teams around Infrastructure- and Full Stack Solution-Consultancy, Cloud Cost Management, and our trusted Managed Services. Day-to-day work can be anything from assistance with customer proposal writing, using best practices to design customer environments, implementing configuration management infrastructure, to taking a step back and giving design recommendations to a technical team or pre-sales activities. Your expertise will be appreciated by our sales team who you will assist to create new products and offerings.

Responsibilities:

– Work as a lead architect for our customers: be the cloud architecture expert;
– Facilitate, communicate, design and guide the implementation of technical designs and implementation;
– Work together with the sales team and help build offers for our customers;
– Own the technical engagement: you are ultimately responsible that the technical designs match the customer needs. You help our project managers and Cloud Engineers understand the needs as well;
– Run workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions;
– Educate customers on best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud;
– Build plans for the transformation of customer’s IT and application portfolio;
– Analyze customer requirements and design architectural solutions for customer projects;
– Contribute to consulting projects by working together with our Cloud Advisors on customer projects, for example in planning cloud business cases, defining cloud strategies or delivering operating models.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

– Highly technical and analytical background, significant experience of software development and/or IT and networking implementation as well as security and compliance;
– Expertise in cloud technology and architecture, but also have a good understanding and interest in business & IT management;
– Background and interest in either enterprise IT or software development;
– You can work both on application portfolio and individual application level – both general principles for transformation across application domains as well as technical designs for individual solutions;
– You understand the basic concepts of at least one of the three major hyper-scale cloud platforms and want to become an expert on the field;
– In general – you help both the customer and our teams succeed in the cloud journey;
– Ability to lead both our internal teams and customers on the cloud journey;
– You dare to challenge the legacy solutions and help our customers find new ones;
– You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills and are experienced in working with senior level stakeholders at the customer interface;
– Fluent English – both written and verbal.
