Your Role and Responsibilities
The SAP PI/PO Developer (Process Integration / Process Orchestration) is responsible for delivering interfaces between SAP and Non-SAP systems that combine business processes with software SAP development tools.The complexity of interfaces may vary, however, they need to scale and be highly reliable for complex enterprise system environments. The PI/PO Developer understands overall SAP enterprise system landscape and can perceive functional requirements between SAP components within the core ERP solution being deployed as well as integrate to external applications in the enterprise environment.
The PI/PO developer is involved in all phases of the life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, mapping, prototype, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

– Should have minimum 5+ years of overall experience of PI 7.1X, PI7.4/PO, PI 7.5/ PO7.5 with end-to-end technical development and implementation experience;
– Ability to work as a Technical Architect and provide best practices integration solution implementation.
– Good exposure on SLD (System Landscape Directory) configuration settings;
– Design and Development experience in ESR (Enterprise Services Repository) and ID (Integration Directory);
– SAP PI/PO mapping implementation (e.g. graphical PI/PO mappings, fairly Java knowledge for UDF (User Defined Function) development, XSLT mappings or JAVA mappings);
– SAP PI/PO interface configuration (e.g. routing rules, SAP PI/PO standard adapters, connections to SAP backend systems).
– Good knowledge of the most used PI/PO adapters: IDoc_AAE, RFC, File, SFTP, JDBC, Mail, REST, SOAP, JMS;
– Good knowledge of using standard SAP modules (PayloadSwapBean, StrictXml2PlainBean, PayloadZipBean, DynamicConfigurationBean, MessageTransformBean, etc);
– Fairly knowledge of SAP PI/PO B2B Add-on / EDI adapters (e.g. EDI adapter configuration, additional B2B tools included, including specific data transfer protocols like AS2, oFTP);
– Testing / Monitoring / Troubleshooting using SAP PI/PO tools and other apps (for example SoapUI / Postman for web services, WinSCP (or similar) for SFTP);
– NetWeaver administration (basic tools like Identity Management, import of security certificates in Key Storage, Log Viewer, etc.);
– Proficiency in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

– SAP certification or SAP special training.
