DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
As a Database Administrator you will take an active role in building and designing high availability database systems in accordance with the company's needs and expectations. You will also monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required. On a daily basis you have to:
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support;
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity;
- Minimise database downtime.
If you have:
- 3+ years of experience in Database Administration;
- Strong knowledge and practice in Oracle and MS SQL;
- Hands-on experience with DB security, back-up, and recovery;
- Excellent knowledge of monitoring of database performance;
- University Degree in Computer Science, Economics & Finance or related;
- Very good command of English (both written and verbal).
