The Global Compliance Monitoring and Oversight function plays a vital role in providing senior management and the Board with ongoing insights on the effectiveness of Paysafe’s key compliance controls. This is a global function whose members and operations span multiple jurisdictions and business units spanning London, Dublin, Sofia and North America.

The incumbent will report into the Global Vice President, Compliance Monitoring and Oversight and will lead a dynamic and large experienced Second Line of Defence team of compliance professionals who undertake reviews of a plethora of key controls across multiple business units.

Essential Duties:

• Day-to-day oversight of the Compliance Monitoring and Oversight function and operations covering financial crime, safeguarding and market presence controls
• Provide team leaders and team members with strategic leadership and subject matter expertise
• Ongoing maintenance and development of a robust, flexible and dynamic Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) covering the entirety of Paysafe’s business units, taking into account Paysafe’s business wide risk assessments, emerging products and newly introduced controls where relevant
• Ensure that scheduled monitoring reviews are adequately and promptly allocated to the team leaders and team members, whilst assuming responsibility that those reviews are conducted in a timely manner and in accordance to the CMP on an ongoing basis
• Provide the VP and Senior Management with quality management information and recommendations for enhancements and refinements to the CMP and the function’s operations/model globally.
• Support the VP in presenting insights and management information to Group MLRO and various management committees.
• Spearhead project and improvement initiatives to scale and uplift the function

Your Profile:

• Considerable and proven track record in Financial Crime and/or Compliance at a senior level
• Previous experience of leading large teams, preferably across various locations
• Familiarity with e-money and payment services & products
• Tech savvy and familiarity with CRM, Compliance and Financial Crime software and applications.
• Ability to seamlessly manipulate data and produce valuable management information
• Demonstrable initiative and appetite to innovate and challenge the status quo
• Adaptable, agile, flexible & willing to embrace change
• Proven and strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly manage and collaborate with various senior and junior stakeholders
• Preferred: Previous experience in compliance monitoring and oversight in a financial services organisation
• Preferred: Internationally accredited qualification in Financial Crime
