Paysafe is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Operations Centre Analyst to join the Information Security team.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate conceptual understanding of security operations and the ability to work in a global team environment. The ideal candidate is expected to be fast learner with the ability to refine their skills and enhance their ability to support daily security operations in a fast-paced environment.
The potential candidate needs to be able to work in a global team (NA, EU, India). The candidate should be a fast learner with the ability to refine their skills and contribute towards enabling the Security Operations Centre team to deliver better quality, speed and assurance.

What to expect:

• Continuously monitor Paysafe’s cyber security threat detection and prevention tools such as SIEM, IDPS, AMP, etc. to identify early triggers of suspicious activity
• Alert triage
• Basic incident management
• First level Incident Analysis and Resolution.
• Escalation to second Level based on Paysafe Security Incident Management process or as governed by Security Operations runbooks
• Apply Paysafe incident response process to ensure impact to Paysafe asset and data is mitigated.
• Engage with team members to enhance security operations skills and knowledge
• Assist in responses to penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
• Support access audits as per the Paysafe user access policy and procedures
• Support scope/process enhancement projects
• Support review and closure of security service management requests
• Analyse information security related logs for risks and vulnerabilities, and provide feedback on potential security threats by collaborating with cross functional teams and related security domain expertise
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
• Act on all customer service-related calls and either resolves them personally or refers issues to the appropriate individuals.
• Participate in regular training and scenario-based security drills
• Compile daily SOC activities into daily shift reports. Accurately ensure detailed shift pass-downs are issued and followed. Compile monthly, quarterly and annual SOC statistical data. Author incident reports as described in SOC protocols
• Perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as assigned

To be successful you need to have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent/relevant practical experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong team player, self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, at times stressed work environment
• Comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovations
• Exposure to SIEM, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management tools (advantage)
