Manpower is looking for one of its Clients – one of the leaders in the production and distribution of copper and fiber components and cables for high quality communication networks with decades of experience, for serious and ambitious candidates for the position of:


Development & Test Engineer


Responsibilities:
Testing of new and existing products for fiber optical and copper products;
Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters;
Writing test plans and creating test stands for the products & type tests execution;
Know-how development in the field of FO and related tests (metrology);
Investigation of product defects and customer complaints;
Establishing and maintaining contacts with external laboratories and institutes;
Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.

Requirements:
University degree in Engineering, Physics, Photonics or other relevant;
Experience in optical data transmission, fiber optic connectors & optical splitters and materials;
Experience in test methods developmenty, mechanical measurements,Simulations, Software (ex.: Zemax, Ansys or similar);
Excellent knowledge in English (written and spoken);
Knowledge in German will be considered as an advantage;
Excellent knowledge in MS Office.
