Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Support Services (TSS) is a function of Global Technology Services GTS within IBM, offering various global services for LOGO and Multivendor products to customers to optimize the efficiency of their IT installations. TSS supports and maintains a wide range of products with Enhanced Support Options to keep customer’s IT Systems up and running at Peak Performance while helping avoid problems before they occur.
The Implementation Specialist, an important member of the GTS-TSS Network and Security team, is primarily responsible for acquiring products and enabling services from external suppliers to support IBM’s Multivendor Support Service offerings.
As an Implementation Specialist, you will be also responsible for:
• Promptly generating IBM purchase orders by collaborating with IBM Procurement teams.
• Enabling internal and external hardware and software support entitlement.
• Engaging external suppliers to resolve entitlement and service discrepancies.
• Ensuring record completeness and working with IBM Sales and Account teams to understand product and service requirements.
• Organizing and preparing financial and business documents for review by executive teams.
• Working with IBM teams to identify and resolve process gaps.
(This position will require working on night shifts – US/ Canada working time).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Excellent analytical and process oriented skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative and Growth mindset.
• Work during Eastern Time Zone business hours with occasional after-hours and weekends.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Understanding of basic finance fundamentals.
