Position Title: Data Analyst - Data Office Insight team


We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Experian Data Office Insight team. On this role you will be responsible for carrying out detailed analysis on all of Experian’s extensive data assets to provide meaningful insight and performance tracking MI for internal stakeholders and for external use. As a Data Analyst will bring a blend of data and business analytical skills and data visualisation experience to best enable the showcasing of Experian data.
Responsibilities:
• Work within a team focused on producing both insight and MI across both Commercial and Consumer bureau data
• Be responsible for data preparation, producing analysis and visualizing this in the most appropriate way for the relevant audience to tell compelling data stories
• Use data transformation and manipualation software to extract and prepare datasets using common tooling e.g. SQL, SAS, SSIS
• Use dashboarding software to visualize data and analytical tool sets to interrogate the base data e.g. Tableau
• Support client personnel and/or other departments/divisions within the business line to interpret data and resolve queries.
• Work independently to develop and deliver solutions, insight, capability and products using best practice analytical techniques and following established quality procedures to help guarantee the robustness of the solution.
• Lead the resolution of data or analytical problems which may impact on results, seeking advice when necessary
• Ensures the quality of all data sent to clients/customers
• Plan and manage own time being able to prioritise multiple requests quickly and effectively

Requirements:
• 3+ year of relevant working experience on similar role
• Significant experience in data analytic toolset and databases e.g. SQL, SAS, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Netezza,
• Significant experience in data preparation and visualisation toolsets e.g. SSIS, Tableau, PowerBI
• Affinity and skill in translating analytical outputs into compelling and creative visual stories
• Strong communication skills in English
