ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

As a Test Automation Lead Engineer, you will plan and drive testing activities across all stages and iterations of product, systems and service development. Main responsibility of the role is to Create, Assist, Troubleshoot the development of Test Automation Framework, Standards, Procedures, Processes, and Best practices as related to Test Automation.



YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adopt and adapt appropriate testing methods, automated tools and technique to solve problems in tools and testing.
Develop organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for testing.
Plan, lead and execute hands-on testing activities of different scale and complexity.
Adapt or develop organizational testing capabilities and methods to solve complex engineering problems in tools and testing.
Promote a culture of quality and test automation throughout the organization and drive adoption of and adherence to testing policies and standards.
Integrate Automated Tests in CI/CD Toolchains (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure Pipelines)
Contribute to product/project review meetings. Support Quality Assurance Management in determining status.
Create Standards, Procedures, Processes, and Best practices as related to Test Automation, Testing & Quality Assurance


ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline and at least 5 years of development experience
Proven experience with Test-Automation & Test Management tools (Selenium, Microfocus Quality Center, HP UFT, others)
Demonstrated successfully planned, design + accomplished tests in a multi-vendor and international environment leveraging different test automation platforms
Experience with eCommerce Platforms such as SAP Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Magento, and others will be considered as strong advantage
Experience with Agile work management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and others is a Plus
Experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDCL) environment a plus

Be able to manage risks associated with testing and to take preventative action when needed: Assess risk / problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities. When you are promoting a culture of quality and test automation throughout the organization and drive the adoption and adherence to testing policies and standards
