Your Role and Responsibilities
We are searching for Sales Support Specialist. This role is responsible for many essential elements of sales operations implementation. Functions performed include sales and operations technology support, customer communication and customer satisfaction management. Individual in this role often communicates with other organizations in IBM (i.e., Finance and Planning, Offering, Accounting, Billing, HR, Marketing, Business Operations, Sales Transformation and Sales Strategy) to execute assigned responsibilities. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

– Handle customer requests for contract updates/new contracts;
– Help Technical Support Services (TSS) Sales prepare offers for support services;
– Interface with customers to explain offered solutions, and maintain customer satisfaction;
– Be a primary focal point in registration (and maintain documentation) of signed contracts;
– Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge;
– Escalate to / coordinate with other support groups when necessary and follow up with them to ensure resolution in a timely manner;
– Assist sales functions in budgeting and accounting;
– Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable for individual or team, or department results, and for the impact of the results on functional activities;
– Participate in overall departmental program planning. May have budgetary responsibility. Contributes by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– Excellent English – both verbal and written;
– At least 2 years of relevant experience;
– Good planning and organization skills;
– Customer-first mindset with high sense of ownership.
