Our client is a leading telecommunication services provider with a strong presence on the Bulgarian market. For their constantly growing engineering team, we are currently searching for a:

Linux System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Plan, ensure and implement a Linux patch strategy for 2000+ internal server systems;
• Implement patch strategy and create the necessary reports, compliance checks and coordinate these with the respective peers;
• Clarify complex topics confidently indirect customer contact;
• Develop and optimize operational processes, orienting yourself on existing processes designed according to ITIL together with the technical leads within the group;
• Estimate new functions and evaluate their productive use;
• Ensure operational compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and quality key performance indicators (KPI) and deal with complex, cross-thematic customer problems in a solution-oriented manner.

Requirements:

• 3+ years relevant experience in the ICT environment with a focus on open source technologies in the area of Redhat Enterprise Linux as a Linux administrator;
• Еxperience with Red Hat Satellite;
• Experience with scripting (Bash/PowerShell/Python scripting);
• Кnowledge in automation technologies and system management software (e.g. Redhat Satellite, SALT);
• Knowledge of producing and managing IT services;
• Excellent structured and independent working ethics;
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills;
• Excellent English skills.
