About our client:
Our client is a software development company focused on providing services and solutions for management and automation of IT and business processes. The IT team is experienced in various trending technologies, such as NodeJS, Angular, React, PHP, Python, Relational and Non-Relation DBs.
Currently, the company is looking to hire an experienced:
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
As a Senior System Administrator you will be responsible for deployment and maintenance of Linux and Unix based phsysical and virtual servers; maintenance of internal network infrastructure, configuring and maintaining VPNs, monitoring and incident management, etc. Last but not least, you will be responsible for automation of repetitive tasks.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in installing, configuring and maintaining Linux and Unix based environments;
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox);
- Experience in the administration, configuration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic server, Apache, NGINX);
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MS SQL);
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python);
- Experience with Docker;
- Network experience: enterprise switches, DNS, routers and other network equipment
- Good command of English language (bot written and verbal).
We will consider as an advantage:
- Kubernetes, OpenShift;
- Knowledge/experience in Data Center infrastructure
- Any related trainings/certificates - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware VCP, Linux LPIC or other
