Job Description

Value Focused
· Transition planning and support for managing handover from Delivery to Support
· Manage and execute service transition up stream (from service design) for new and changes to existing service; understand and follow current procedures
· Manage stakeholders’ expectations by defining and publishing success criteria and ensure all parties are ready to accept a service
· Identify and manage risks and issues as appropriate
· Update relevant tools to provide acceptance for each phase, including submission of required artefacts
· Chair project review meetings with key stakeholders and maintain accurate records

Agility
· Regular updates given to key stakeholders on progress/status of an ongoing Delivery project
· Identifying additional acceptance criteria relevant at project level which is not defined in existing templates, to ensure successful transition of projects
· Encourage effective communication/knowledge sharing for risk mitigation and prevention across different work streams

Collaboration
· Work closely with EMEA PMO and Project Delivery Teams to ensure compliance through each project milestone
· Produce accurate reporting for Management analysis
· Articulate Service Transition procedures, providing sound reasoning and overall benefits
· Build and maintain working relationships with teams that interact with Service Transition, ensuring all parties operate to agreed roles/responsibilities (with or without OLA’s) during Service Transition from Delivery into Support

Continuously Improve
· Identify improvement opportunities including – new tool usage, stakeholder management processes, governance methodologies
· Regularly review operating procedures and current state of operations in order to identify improvements
· Drive the recording of Lessons Learnt and best practice sharing post Service Transition project closure
· Contribute to the continual service improvement of the service acceptance process, feeding back to Stakeholder groups such as PPMC & Solutions

Transparency
· Ensure compliance to Experian global and EMEA policies, i.e. security and data compliance

Ensure successful deployments into production and clear mitigation plans for raised risk

Qualifications

Essential:
· Background in service operations with Service Transition planning and support
· Focus on the Client experience, minimizing disruption and delivering the best for our Clients and the Organisation
· Motivation to drive projects through Service Transition to ensure delivery and initiatives introducing service change achieve agreed set of acceptance criteria
· Demonstrable record in driving change and process efficiencies in Service Transition
· Excellent planning, communication and negotiation skills

Desirable:
· Experience of working across multiple countries and cultures
· Educated to degree level or similar
· ITIL v3 Foundation qualification

Experience of working in various operational roles
