Introduction
At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The individual in this role will lead definition of a solution for TSS Service Planning. During construction, an IBM Architect is the advocate for the client and guides the technical team.
Responsibilities:
– Advocate clients need in the context of TSS SP tools consolidation activities;
– Actively engage during solution/offering design to address business needs in context of tools transformation initiatives to provide strategic direction on solution design vs tactical alternatives.
SP tools change requests clarification, validation, and prioritization;
– Represent TSS SP needs on tools operation topics;
– Coordinate business automation aligned with corporate IT security standards and market’s legislation;
– Champion global strategic tools.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– Strong communication skills, proactive, detail oriented with critical appraisal in context of business e2e process;
– Flexibility and ability to deliver in demanding and changing circumstances;
– High standards, attention to detail and a desire to make a difference;
– Decision making under difficult circumstances;
– Understanding Design thinking methods to deliver great user design;
– Experience working in an Agile ‘ways of working’;
– Fluency in English – both spoken and written.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
– Knowledge and understanding of IBM Service Planning business operations;
– Experience using modern collaboration tools in a highly responsive environment.
