Senior QA Automation Engineer

For our location in Sofia we are looking for а skillful Senior QA Automation Engineer.

Summary of the role:
As a Senior Automation QA in our team, you’ll be expected to:

• Develop, execute and maintain automated test cases, scripts and suites which also includes:
 Monitoring stability, execution success and proactively suggesting optimizations
 Performing code reviews, test framework updates and code refactoring
 Define, maintain and promote the utilization of ROI criteria for automation
• Collaborate with the QA Architect and Team Lead in establishing conventions and practices
• Drive the creation of test plansstrategies used for defining the release testing approach
• Serve as a mentor in the on-boarding for newcomers
• Proactively promote knowledge sharing within and outside of the team
• Participate in all different forms of functional and regression testing done by the team
• Identify, analyze and document bugs in the functionality
• Prepare management and technical reports
• Participate in technical and planning meetings
• Embrace and apply Agile principles and teamwork attitude

About the ideal candidate:
• 4+ years professional experience as Automation QA or equal (e.g. Software Developer)
• Experience with Automated Web Testing Tools: Selenium (Java)
• Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Programming skills (OOP, advanced knowledge of Java).
• Has advanced knowledge of quality concepts, standards and practices
• Experience with test management tools, bug tracking tools, requirements management tools and/or change management tools.
• Embraces and applies the Lean-Agile Mindset
• Experience with Protractor (JavaScript) is considered as a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
