For one of our clients that develops products for data collection, research & verification of information, analysis, and reporting we are looking for
PHP Developer
Responsibilities:


• Analyze user needs to implement Web site or applications of new features;
• Improve existing functionalities;
• Help develop technical specifications;
• Write or edit MVC content;
• Identify problems uncovered by testing and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction;
• Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with all systems;
• Develop or validate test routines;
• Identify and recommend quality improvements to development process and methodology;
• Properly document all development in-code;
• Generate reports, stats, system files;
• Develop Unit tests;
• Provide good level of code / functional documentation;
• Build and maintain relational and non-relational databases

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
• Have a relevant professional qualification
• 2+ years of experience with OOP PHP
• Experience with Zend and/or Symfony Frameworks
• Familiarity with the latest PHP 7+ features and good coding practices
• Experience with JavaScript/node js (jQuery, Bootstrap), HTML, CSS is a plus
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design and optimization
• Practical and theoretical understanding of REST/RPC APIs and the concepts behind them
• Experience writing unit tests, test cases, and really testable code;
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases;
• Knowledge of Git versioning, SOAP, REST
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools
