Java DeveloperSummary of the role
As a Java Developer, you will be a part of the Expense R&D Business Unit in Sofia. You will contribute to the development of Java web based applications and services, where you will:
• Design and implement technical solutions based on business requirements
• Develop quality software according to company and team standards:
-Perform code reviews
-Recommend and implement code improvements
-Conduct unit and functional tests
-Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects
• Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle
• Perform maintenance activities, investigate reported problems and provide solutions
• Participate in and support the build and deployment processes
• Communicate actively with your teammates and stakeholders
• Embrace and apply Agile principles and teamwork attitude
About the ideal candidate:
To succeed in Java Developer in Expense Dev Team role, you’ll need proven proficiency in the following areas:

• Experience and solid understanding of Java and Java EE/Spring framework
• Experience with big, scalable enterprise applications is considered a plus
• Experience with Rest API
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL - Experience with Oracle DB is considered as a plus
• Unit and Rest Assured testing
• Design patterns
• Experience with building and source control tools
• Experience with front-end technologies (Java Script, Angular) is considered a plus
• Engineer University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Advanced level of written and spoken English communication skills
