We are looking for a Data Scientist who will research, build, and deploy sophisticated models and tools to solve complex marketing problems. The successful candidate will design machine learning projects, help collect, interpret, and summarize data, and make predictions and recommend actions based on the research.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Business insights:

Analyze partners business performance
Classify partners and development of predictive models to forecast partner performance
Identify features impacting the business performance of partners
Data science:

Develop and deploy machine learning models to work on data at scale
Perform data and error analysis to improve models
Perform hypothesis testing
Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine data lakes
Clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
Develop standards for testing (inc. detailed design and configuring)
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to determine how to handle missing data and to look for trends and opportunities
Data storytelling:

Generate regular reports and maintain associated updates
Deliver finding through effective data visualization, often for a non-technical audience
Document processes, providing sufficient descriptive information about data
Data engineering:

Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine
Collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables
Structure and improve the way data flows through a software application
Integrate new datasets that can be leveraged
Knowledge transfer:

Provide technical mentorship and training to improve data science practices
Learn and acquire knowledge about data science with the team to determine strategies, solutions, and initiatives
Working with operations and marketing to understand where data science can add value
Programming:

Write computer programs and analyze large datasets to uncover answers to complex problems
Be comfortable writing code working in a variety of languages such as R, Python, and SQL
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Background/ Experience:

3+ Years of experience with production ML tooling (e.g., Airflow, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP)
5+ Years of programming in Python, SQL, R Experience in launching machine learning models at scale
5+ Years of expertise with statistical techniques and their applications in business
5+ Years of experience in BI Tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, and Qlikview)
5+ Years of experience working with big data (e.g., SQL, Spark)
Skills:

Ability to apply ML tools and methods
Ability to program in Python
Ability to use probability and statistics analysis
Ability to present data in Excel, PowerBI tools
Ability to work with SQL / Databases
Ability to perform classification, regression and clustering
Ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical stakeholders
