Your Role and Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.
We are looking for highly motivated IBM System Z technical professionals interested in helping clients with their installation of IBM Z software products.
Join a team of services professionals to provide technical services to clients in Italy . Customer satisfaction with IBM and our products is the main aim of the job. 25% of the work will require travel.
You will:

Communicate with the client teams and their clients to understand their business problems and goals, then architect, deploy, and provide enablement for solutions utilizing existing IBM Z products
Provide technical assistance to customers who need help implementing IBM Z software or using it to the best of its ability.
Travel to customer locations if required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
The ability to use TSO and ISPF
JCL skills
Ability to write simple REXX programs
Your experience should include implementing and using at least one or more of the following products; with a desire to expand your skills to cover others:
PD Tools Products: IBM Debug Tool, Fault Analyzer, File Manager, Data Set Commander, Hourglass
Scheduler Products: IBM Workload Scheduler (formerly Tivoli Workload Scheduler), CA-JOBTRAC, CA7/11, CA-Scheduler, CA-ESP, BMC Control M
Security Products: ACF2, TSS, RACF

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of other z software including COBOL, PL/I, JCL, VSAM/QSAM, DB2, NetView, Experience with Assembler/PLX, SMP/E, RACF security, and other operations tools
Knowledge of the products that compete against the IBM z software products
Experience with Applications Development on IBM Z
